Will my matter be handled by an attorney who is familiar with my case?
The firm was created and is maintained with the premise that a client’s case should be handled by one attorney from start to finish. Mr. Lombardo’s practice is to handle each client matter himself. Although, the firm does consist of “of counsel” attorneys and assistants, who help Mr. Lombardo, if your case is accepted by Mr. Lombardo, he will handle your case from start to finish.

Unless the client consents, a client will not be left guessing whether another attorney of the firm other than Mr. Lombardo will be handling his/her case and more importantly, appearing in Court on their behalf. Mr. Lombardo believes that in a time of a client’s need, a client should not be waiting around in a Court room not knowing which attorney will show up for them.

How can I communicate with my attorney?
Communication with your attorney is a foremost concern of our practice. As a client you will be informed about the status of your claim or case as events occur. As a client you will receive a copy of all letters and other documents sent or received concerning your case so that you will at all times have a complete copy of your file to use for your records and to assist you in keeping informed about your case. As with any legal case there are routine matters such as phone calls, research, record review that take place during your case that we may inform you from time to time either by telephone, appointment or letter. Importantly, you may and we encourage, that you call us if you have any questions concerning you case as it arises.

However, to best serve the needs of Mr. Lombardo’s clients, we recommend that you arrange a telephone appointment to speak to Mr. Lombardo when necessary so that he may able to devote the appropriate time to your matter of concern. Finally, we have spent significant time in the ongoing process to develop this web site so that clients may communicate privately with us and to obtain information concerning our practice or issues affecting a client’s particular case at their convenience.

How can I hire the firm’s services, will I need an office appointment?
Hiring our services starts with an interview to determine if we can be of assistance to you. You may call us or send us an e-mail or both. If you have an urgent need to hire us to postpone a court date or you simply don’t have the time to take off from work for an in office appointment, you can arrange a telephone appointment with us to hire us over the phone. This service to both in state and out of state clients mainly applies to traffic and criminal matters, but it can also be used for personal injury claims as well.

During the interview we will need to determine if your case falls within our practice areas and if it’s a type of matter that you need legal representation to handle. Our firm has the resources and expertise of a large firm, but with the goal of providing personal attention to the client matters that we accept, we do not accept every case. However, given our extensive experience we have been successful in resolving a number of matters successfully and affordable for clients despite the initial complexity of the facts particular to the case. We also, successfully handle a significant number of traffic cases each year for both in and out of state clients

I have been injured how do I hire your firm even if I can’t make it to your office?
It is not uncommon for clients who have been seriously injured to not be able to meet at our offices for an initial interview. This is similarly true for the client who lives long distances away. In such cases, we will be happy to arrange an initial phone interview and then arrange to come to you to complete our initial investigation.

How can I afford to pay fees?
Also, in certain types of cases such as injuries caused by the negligence of others, the rules of Ethics permits the firm to offer services on a contingency basis. This means that you can retain our services without cost to you up front and fees will be paid from the net recovery of any compensation you obtain. We also can agree to advance costs necessary to prove your claim.

Also, if we do agree to accept your claim, there will be no cost to you at all unless your claim is successful. In cases involving traffic or criminal offenses, we can arrange a single reasonable fee (Flat Fee) for services, along with flexible payment plans. See our discussion of fees in this site.
